Might that family be you? click to enlarge Enzo 9 months Tri-color Chihuahua Who is this cute little masked fellow? Well, it’s Enzo, of course, the newest member of the Perfect Pet Rescue family! As sweet as he is cute, Enzo weighs just 5.2 pounds and is 9 months old. Throughout history, masked figures on stage and screen have entertained us, frightened us, and eluded us. Enzo, though, is taking center stage for one reason — to capture your heart so you’ll take him home. He is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. So, it’s time to come on over and scoop up this precious boy before someone else does! click to enlarge Pepper 3 years Chocolate and tan Papillon mix Little Pepper’s time in the shelter was harrowing to stay the least. She was so scared that all she could think to do was protect herself by not allowing anyone near her. We saw the fear in her big eyes, though, as she tried to melt into the back of the kennel, and we had to save her. This pretty girl is 3 years old with a beautiful silky chocolate and tan coat. Her wonderfully big ears stand at attention as she listens to our soothing words and gently takes treats from our hands. With love and kindness, Pepper is learning that people can be trusted. Before you know it, she’ll be your best friend, ready to take on the world as long as you are by her side. Pepper weighs 11 pounds and is microchipped and vaccinated. She will be spayed as part of her adoption. In the meantime, she’s waiting for you to come and whisk her away! click to enlarge Chewy 8 years Gray and black Shih Tzu Meet Chewy, a dapper 8-year-old fellow abandoned at the shelter because of skin issues. People can be so cruel. Chewy, though, is a very forgiving soul and knows a loving family will come along soon. Until then, we’re treating his skin and envisioning the day his luxurious coat returns. Healthy in every other way, Chewy weighs 13 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. So, you’d better get ready ‘cause this gentleman is ready to steal your heart. click to enlarge Miso 7 years White Miniature Poodle The world’s perfect dog! That’s our handsome boy, Miso! This 7-year-old didn’t think anything worse could happen than his beloved owner’s hospitalization, but then came the unimaginable. She died, and he was headed to a shelter when we stepped in. Heartbroken and confused, Miso is nonetheless a gracious gentleman. He is calm, quiet, and agreeable. Behind the lingering sadness in his eyes, we know there is happiness just waiting to be shared. His tail wags and gentle kisses tell us so. Miso has a history of occasional seizures, but he is now on medication which should keep them controlled. So, hurry on over! Miso weighs 25 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to show you that perfection does exist! click to enlarge Louie 5 years Gold Terrier Just look at those magnificent ears standing at attention! Louie is ready to hear all about his wonderful new life. …and it’s about time this golden 5-year-old gets some good news. Louie was in the shelter for an unimaginable 4 months, becoming more and more stressed with each passing day. He began to lose hope, to withdraw, to growl when approached. Then one day, a special volunteer started spending time with Louie and discovered he’s actually very smart and very talented. What’s more, behind that initial growl of a greeting is a sweet fellow who just wants to love and be loved. Louie weighs 11.6 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines.
