4 years Black and tan Terrier/Yorkie mix Meet Paxton, another sweet little boy found all alone on the streets. Thank goodness one of our wonderful former adopters saw him and scooped him up. For over two weeks, he tried to find his owner, but no one came. So, now 4-year-old Paxton is safe with us, enjoying playtime with our other dogs while he waits for his new forever family. This handsome fellow looks like he could be part Yorkie, but pedigree experts we are not. …and does it really matter? Truly, Paxton can be whatever your heart desires ‘cause no matter his lineage, he is a loving cuddler who likes people and dogs and dogs and people, walking, snoozing, cuddling, and treats. He is also neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and potty trained. All he needs now is you!

11 years Ruby Cavalier King Charles It is unfathomable how anyone could abandon this 11-year-old beauty, but that is exactly what happened. Sadly, Piper’s owner became incapable of caring for her. What did the woman’s family do? Got rid of her the first chance they could. Well, it’s their loss because Piper is the absolute best companion. She’s a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel after all! She is loving and gentle and oh so happy in spite of what happened. She is also spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. As she slowly swings her plush tail back and forth in true Cavalier fashion, she’s dreaming of her new life as your faithful companion! Won’t you make her dream come true?

3 years White with red and black Spaniel/Papillon mix Our Snoopy may not be a Beagle or a World War II Flying Ace, but he’s got his own claim to fame. First, he’s just two years old and is quite the handsome fellow. Secondly, he’s working really hard to defeat his own Red Baron. His former home was a very scary place. He was left outside all day and in a crate all night. Thus, he’s sometimes fearful and wary of new humans; but with the help of our other dogs, he’s routing his Red Baron once and for all. Snoopy weighs 12 pounds and will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of his adoption. Won’t you come and fly off with him into the sunset?

1.5 years White Terrier/Poodle mix Legends aren’t born everyday. While it is true that all rescues are unique in their own wonderful ways, Legend’s story was a first for this rescuer. Found on the streets, this youngster had a microchip. Not at all unusual, you say? Well, you’re right, but there was an unexpected twist. When contacted, the person to whom he was microchipped denied he was her dog. What to do? Abandon him at a shelter? Not even an option, so we enrolled in the shelter at home program. For the next 30 days, sweet Legend stayed with a wonderful foster. Finally, we get to introduce him to the family who will claim him for their very own. This almost-two-year-old loves cuddling and playing, toys and treats, and people and dogs. He’ll be your best friend and loyal companion, asking only that you be his. Legend weighs 15 pounds and will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of his adoption. So, what are you waiting for? Legends don’t come along everyday!

8 years White with black Terrier mix Meet Bella, a gal with a name that says it all. She is beautiful! She may be 8 years old, but her looks belie her age. Bella carries herself like the grande dame that she is. Now, she just needs a new forever home over which she can reign. Happily settled in with her loving former family, Bella had no idea they lost their home. Neither did she know how hard it is to find affordable housing where pets are allowed. Unable to find such housing, her owner made the heart-wrenching decision to rehome her. It was in deed a sad day for all. We promised her former owner, though, that we would find their beloved dog a wonderfully loving home. Bella weighs 23 lbs and is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. So, here she is, albeit a bit shy and confused, ready to meet that family. Might that be you?

4 years Black and brown Terrific Terrier Meet Abby, an intelligent and sweet four-year-old 18-pound Terrier mix. This beautiful girl is well-behaved, knows several commands, enjoys leisurely walks, and understands that outside is the place for potty time. Sadly, Abby was abused and so can be shy around new people, especially men. Patience, love, and understanding, however, will help her feel safe; and, in no time, you’ll experience the wonderfulness that is Abby. Despite her past hardships, this young lady is kind, loving, and longing for human companionship. She likes socializing with other dogs but definitely doesn’t want a canine housemate. She will also be happiest in an all or mostly female household. So, if your heart is big enough and your spirit gentle enough, Abby would like to meet you ASAP!
