Hudson

3 years Chocolate and white Cocker Spaniel. When Hudson first came to the shelter, he was one big dreadlock. Why people allow their dogs to become so terribly matted will always remain a mystery. What is not a mystery, however, is the stunningly handsome chocolate and white fellow we found underneath that mess. As neglected as Hudson was, it did not surprise us that he has some behavioral issues. When scared, he has been known to bite. With love and proper care and training, however, Hudson will discover he no longer needs to protect himself by being hyper-vigilant. He will learn to relax and once again trust humans. He will need an experienced owner who will dedicate him/herself to ensuring his well-being so that the happy dog beneath defensive can flourish. At 27 pounds, Hudson is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines.
