Comet

3 years Black and Tan Yorkie Some say that bad things come in threes. Sadly, for 10-pound Comet, this seems to be true. He is three-years-old; and in that time, he has been in the same shelter three times. The first time, he was just two-months-old. The last time, he languished for two months....that is until we scooped him up, promising him life would never again let him down. Comet is understandably a bit frightened and sometimes protects himself by growling. His third owner returned him to the shelter because he had bitten someone. We don’t know why but imagine fear and trust were factors. Experience tells us, though, that patience and love will soon heal his emotional wounds, helping him find confidence and comfort in a world where safety has always eluded him. Comet, therefore, wants a calm household with no children. He’s a one-person dogs and needs someone who understands his circumstances and will help him find his best self. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. So, come on over and give this little guy the perfect holiday gift....a new and truly forever home!
