7 years Brown Boxer Hey Boxer lovers, where are you? Chopper is waiting for you! This lovable fellow came to us after a 3-month shelter stay. That’s right. Three long months behind bars because his owner neglected him, leaving him alone in a back yard with no food or shelter and only one companion, a deceased dog who had been his best friend. In spite of how Chopper spent the last few years of his life, however, he can’t wait to start anew with a family who will love him as much as he’ll love them. You see, Chopper’s a straight up lover. One look in his big soulful eyes, and you’ll see his loving spirit. One slobbery kiss from his handsome mug, and you’ll feel his playfulness. ...and does this guy ever like to play! Throw a tennis ball, and off he goes....joyfully over-and-over-and-over again. Chopper now weighs 66 pounds but could stand to gain a few more, which won’t be hard with his hearty appetite. He is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. Best of all, he walks well on a leash, likes to show off the commands he knows, and just may be house trained! So, if you love dogs, you will absolutely adore charming, playful, dapper, happy Chopper!!

3 years Brown Manchester Terrier This beautiful young lady sat quietly in the shelter, watching people who did not give her a second look walk by for two long months. Well, it only took us one look to know we wanted to save little Bella and find her the loving home she deserves. Now safe with us, Bella is adjusting well to life with people who have only her best interest in mind. Although she’s still a little nervous at a first meeting, she quickly relaxes and will happily nestle in your arms. Bella likes dogs and people both. She walks well on a leash. At 11 pounds, this 3-year-old bundle of love is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. Most of all, she cannot wait to meet you!!

3 years Brindle with white Cardigan Welsh Corgi mix The first thing we noticed when we picked up Pippy from a local shelter was that she could not wait to get out the door. She had definitely made up her mind. There was no going back. Instead, Pippy headed straight for the car... and her new life. Her relief was palpable. Having been abandoned at the shelter because she was too strong for her previous owner, Pippy grew more and more nervous as February faded into March. Then along came her guardian angel, and here she is with our other perfect pups, learning to relax and have oodles of fun. While Pippy is as sweet as can be, she much prefers women over men. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. This cute girl weighs 24 pounds. Yes, she needs to lose several pounds. Nevertheless, Pippy is full of life and can’t wait to pass through another door into your life!
