9 years Cream and white Maltese mix. Sweet Milly came to us because her beloved owner became too ill to care for her. Not wanting this wisp of a girl to have to deal with both losing her person and adjusting to kennel life, we asked her wonderful interim caregiver if he would continue fostering her until she finds her new forever home. He happily agreed. Milly weighs between 8 and 10 pounds and is a truly delightful pup. She is happy and well-adjusted in spite of the sudden change in her circumstances. She loves people and gets along well with other dogs. With an independent spirit, Milly loves an adventure but is always glad to return home and cuddle with her person. Chronologically, Milly may be a senior at 9 years old, but she is a youngster at heart and has many more years to share with some very lucky person! Milly is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines.

3 years Chocolate and white Cocker Spaniel. When Hudson first came to the shelter, he was one big dreadlock. Why people allow their dogs to become so terribly matted will always remain a mystery. What is not a mystery, however, is the stunningly handsome chocolate and white fellow we found underneath that mess. As neglected as Hudson was, it did not surprise us that he has some behavioral issues. When scared, he has been known to bite. With love and proper care and training, however, Hudson will discover he no longer needs to protect himself by being hyper-vigilant. He will learn to relax and once again trust humans. He will need an experienced owner who will dedicate him/herself to ensuring his well-being so that the happy dog beneath defensive can flourish. At 27 pounds, Hudson is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines.

2 years old. Black and Gray. Schnauzer/Poodle mix. Dino is a happy-go-lucky boy. His tail is in constant motion signifying his pleasure with everyone he meets. He is fine with other dogs too, so he can be your number one or your number two. Dino weighs 21 pounds which puts him more in the mid size range. Dino is a sturdy dog. Sadly, we had to strip his coat as his previous owners diidn't care about grooming him but the good news is he will not shed. Dino is the kind of dog who just lights up a room with his big smile. He seems to have had a bit of training but all our friends do best given the opportunity to learn the new house rules. He's a smart boy and he'll catch right on. If you adopt Dini than you will both be happy and lucky.

1 1/2 years Tan Spaniel mix. Puddy is not a very common name for a dog; but, then, our Puddy is no ordinary pup. He is so loving and so trusting that you'd never guess he came from the shelter just yesterday. At 14.5 pounds, he is a handsome Spaniel mix. What he is mixed with, however, we aren't sure; but since he is a little low to the ground, we thought Puddy an appropriate moniker. The minute you meet Puddy, he sits in front of you, wagging his tail and beseeching you, with his soulful eyes, for some lovin'. You will be amazed at the silkiness of his coat as you stroke his head, so amazed in fact that you won't want to stop.....which will be just fine with him. Puddy is now neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. More importantly, he can't wait to make your life extraordinary!

1 year Tan Terrific Terrier. In Latin, Felix means happy or one who brings happiness. A more fitting description for our 13-pound Terrific Terrier, Felix, does not exist. Somewhat scared while in the shelter, Felix has realized he'll never again be behind bars and has become the happy, playful pup we knew was hidden by his sad shelter eyes. He is gentle and kind and ready to shower love upon his new forever person. He needs a little leash training as it seems this activity is fairly new to him, but he is quite treat motivated and should respond well to any training exercise. Felix is neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and ready to meet you. Are you ready to meet this fabulous fellow?

7 years Tan Maltese/Chihuahua mix. Our little Ginny may weigh only 5 1/2 pounds, but her heart and soul are much, much larger. This courageous wisp of a girl survived a fire and a lengthy shelter stay yet still sees the good in everything and everyone. Ginny's favorite place is snuggled in your lap. She is currently recovering from both cherry eye surgery and having been spayed so will need a few quiet days to rest. Before you know it, though, she'll be ready and willing to accompany you anywhere. Ginny has also been microchipped and given all vaccines. So, don't delay, or you just may miss the chance to share your life with this very special little lady!

4 years Tan and white Maltipoo 'Hey there, Georgie girl, Swinging down the street so fancy-free.... Hey there, Georgie girl, Dreaming of the someone you could be...' Well, our little Georgie girl can stop dreaming and start believing in the reality that will soon be her life. Having arrived at the shelter with some serious wounds on her body and an eye that had suffered trauma, Georgie clearly has had a rather difficult life thus far. All that, however, is beginning to change. Her wounds were cleaned and sutured. Her damaged eye was removed. She was spayed, microchipped and given all her vaccines. She was so happy her first day with us that she developed a case of the wiggles, which made taking pictures of her challenging. At 10 pounds, Georgie may be small, but she is mighty. Who will be the lucky person who will swing down the street so fancy-free with our dear Georgie girl?

5 years Black and white Terrific Terrier. In The Urban Dictionary, the name 'Becca' means the most awesome person one has ever met. Well, we can safely say that our little a Becca is one awesome pup! Even though she spent extra time in the shelter because she had a microchip, and even though her family never came for her, Becca holds no grudges. She loves everyone she meets and can't wait to snuggle and give kisses. She will happily stroll by your side on a leisurely afternoon or snuggle up with you while you read a book or watch TV. What you do does not matter to her...as long as you do it with her. ...and, at just 9 pounds, Becca can go just almost anywhere with you! She does have one request. She loves dogs but does not want to live with any others, so she requests that she be your one and only pup! She is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. So, if you are ready for a pup who will make your life awesome, Becca is waiting for you!

Ruby Tuesday
3 years old, Cream, Miniature American Eskimo 'Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday' is something we hope we can sing to this girl very soon. Having come to us in late 2017 after a lengthy shelter stay, Ruby Tuesday has been adopted and returned twice. Each time, her adopters loved her sweet affectionate nature and were quite sad to let her go, but Ruby needs an experienced dog owner who will commit to creating and maintaining a stable and structured environment. She can become possessive of people and things, so she cannot live with children. When off leash, she does well with other dogs but becomes overly excited when seeing another dog when she is on a leash. At home, she needs to be the only dog, without even a cat. Ruby Tuesday has reacted to fear and uncertainty by biting, so she needs a person who knows both her triggers and how to redirect her. When she is managed properly, the rewards of having a devoted companion for life are far greater than the challenges of having an imperfect pet. Ruby Tuesday weighs 15 pounds and is spayed, micro chipped, and current on all vaccines. Be the one who helps her catch her dreams, and you will be rewarded with a gem, Ruby Tuesday.
