10 months Black with white Poodle mix Meaning ‘night’ or ‘dark beauty’, Lilah seems the perfect name for our newest arrival, a lovely black 10-month-old mini poodle with a white blaze on her chest. Up to now, Lilah has had a pretty rough life, but that all changed when she found her way to us. In spite of the difficulties she’s faced, she is quite a happy little gal who does not hesitate to cuddle up next to those she meets. With a tale that never stops wagging, she is as delightful as any puppy can be. She will be a great family member, filling your home with joy and laughter for years to come. At 8.5 pounds, Lilah is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. So, don’t delay! This sweet pup surely won’t be with us for long!

5 years Silver, black, gray, tan Silky Terrier Anyone named Tillie is said to be beautiful, loving, strong, and a little sassy. When you meet our Tillie, you will have to agree she is all those things and more. This lovely 8-pound Yorkie was found alone on the streets. No collar. No microchip. Obviously bred. This was certainly no life for this precious waif, and so she was scooped up by a Good Samaritan who tried but had no luck finding her owners. Now, Tillie is safe with us. She will soon be spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. So, if beauty, love, and a little sass are what you’re looking for, look no further ‘cause Tillie is waiting for you!

7 years White Maltese/Terrier mix Thrown away without a second thought.... That’s what happened to sweet Sophie just a few days ago. After living her entire life with a woman, she was dumped in the shelter because she was uncomfortable around the woman’s 7-month-old twin grandchildren. Can you really blame her, though, for having difficulty dealing with two newly-crawling babies who were allowed to invade her space at will without adequate supervision? We certainly don’t and so are very happy to welcome Sophie to Perfect Pet Rescue. At 16 pounds, she is now spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. A loving little soul, Sophie would prefer living in a home where tail pulling, eye poking, and ear grabbing are not permitted. Basically, she yearns for a peaceful life with people who will love and respect her; and, in return, she will be your devoted companion forevermore.

1 year White and tan Maltipoo One definition of the name ‘Juno’ refers to the most beautiful woman on earth, someone who’s smile will brighten anyone’s day. Well, our Juno, may still be a young girl, but she is definitely one of the most beautiful pups we have ever had; and, you guessed it..., she has a smile that speaks her love for everyone she meets. Just a year old, Juno has lived a pretty rough life up to now. Sometime ago...we don’t know when...she ended up with a broken left femur that was never properly treated. Although it did not seem to cause her any pain and certainly did not slow her down, she could not use the leg and so had surgery to repair the break. Neither does the injury dampen her spirits. Juno is happy and engaging and wants to be everyone’s friend. At 16 pounds, she is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccines. So, if you are looking for a beautiful, loving, and happy best friend, Juno is waiting for you!

5 years White and tan Shih Tzu If you have ever wondered what ‘resilience’ looks like, look no further. Our little Gabby epitomizes the amazing resilience we see over and over again in our rescue pups. Before we picked her up from the shelter, we were informed she had two masses on her abdomen. What we saw when we finally met this lively little girl was one large open mass and one small insular mass. Gabby’s demeanor, however, bespoke a happy dog who didn’t seem to have a care in the world. One would have thought she’d known us forever. She instantly clamored for our affection and bestowed upon us her own in the form of loving kisses. The two masses were completely removed, and Gabby is now recovering and doing quite well. Unfortunately, the biopsy results indicated that the masses were cancerous. Currently Gabby is free of any other masses, but there is a strong possibility that the cancer will metasticize. When? We don’t know. How quickly? We don’t know. In the meantime, we are looking for someone who will give Gabby a life befitting a queen...because that is what she deserves. At 15 pounds, Gabby is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. Her recuperation with us has been filled with love and care from our wonderful volunteers, but we would love for Gabby to find her forever family so that she can relax and heal in the arms of those with whom she will spend the rest of her life. Might that be you?

18 months Tri-color Terrier mix Exercising is always more fun when done with friends, and our Zumba can’t wait to show you his moves. At 20 pounds, Zumba is an active fellow who will make a perfect exercise buddy. He will definitely not be opposed, however, to some down time, as long as he gets to spend it relaxing and snuggling with you. Zumba is as loving as he is energetic; and, with his wonderfully whimsical ears, he’s a master at making people smile, no matter the activity. This young fellow is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. So, what are you waiting for? It’s time to Zumba!

14 months old, Gray, Poodle / Maltese mix, Sara 's gray coat shimmers with light as she happily walks down the street. She is irresistible, irrepressible and about as sweet a little girl as you are likely to meet. She is full of smiles and wants to play or party, your choice. Plan lots of walks and activities for this enthusiastic dog. She's young, just over a year old and weighs 9 pounds. She has had all of her shots and is raring to go home. Sara is sure to be the best sweet you ever take home and the only calories involved are those you will take off while enjoying walks together.

Ruby Tuesday
3 years old, Cream, Miniature American Eskimo 'Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday' is something we hope we can sing to this girl very soon. Having come to us in late 2017 after a lengthy shelter stay, Ruby Tuesday has been adopted and returned twice. Each time, her adopters loved her sweet affectionate nature and were quite sad to let her go, but Ruby needs an experienced dog owner who will commit to creating and maintaining a stable and structured environment. She can become possessive of people and things, so she cannot live with children. When off leash, she does well with other dogs but becomes overly excited when seeing another dog when she is on a leash. At home, she needs to be the only dog, without even a cat. Ruby Tuesday has reacted to fear and uncertainty by biting, so she needs a person who knows both her triggers and how to redirect her. When she is managed properly, the rewards of having a devoted companion for life are far greater than the challenges of having an imperfect pet. Ruby Tuesday weighs 15 pounds and is spayed, micro chipped, and current on all vaccines. Be the one who helps her catch her dreams, and you will be rewarded with a gem, Ruby Tuesday.

6 years old, 28 pounds. Cockapoo. Allie is back with Perfect Pet after three years in a home. Sadly, her owner is moving and is unable to take Allie with her. Allie likes children and other dogs; but with people, she has a definite preference for women. She has been well loved and is very well trained. She is house trained, walks well on a leash, and likes riding in cars. She bonds very quickly to one person and will be your faithful companion. Allie is spayed, micro chipped, current on her shots, and looking for a quiet home with a woman whom she will love unconditionally.
